RENT
Payments in arrears with the threat of eviction – landlord approval required.
Permanent housing only; paid directly to landlord or assignee.
MEDICATION
Prescription medications (non-narcotic), wellness equipment (as funds allow)
AGE 60+
Eldercare assistance in all categories listed above when a full-time member oF the household is age 60 or above.
MEDICAL EQUIPMENT
*Financial services are provided based on total household income and a qualified resident of Rutherford County. Some services require a form of identification and your service (utilities) account number. Other than walk-in emergency food assistance, client service interviews are conducted by appointments. Call 828-287-0776 for scheduling.
Yokefellow thrift store has walkers, shower chairs/benches, or other short- term use medical equipment to meet the needs of the public. These are available free of charge simply by your signature and return of the equipment once no longer needed.
Nonperishable food is available for walk-in assistance between 11 AM – 4 PM,
Monday – Friday.

Once per season for each household member.
Exceptions for fire, emergency custody, etc.
CLOTHING
Disconnection notice required (power, water, heating/cooling, cooking fuels)
